NewsNow Academy is the education arm of NewsNow.lk and Pahana Media. We started it because the best way to learn a craft is from the people who practise it, and our newsroom is full of them.
What we teach
Journalism, digital media, social media, video editing, photography, 3D modelling and storytelling. Every course is short, practical and built around real assignments, not theory.
Who teaches
Working reporters, editors, photographers, video journalists and designers. Each instructor is reviewed by our editorial team before their course goes live.
How it works
- Lifetime access to every course you buy
- Learn on your phone or laptop, at your own pace
- A certificate for each course you complete
- Prices shown in your own currency, pay by card, bank or mobile wallet
